Chainlink LINK Bridges Wall Street and DeFi Through Strategic ICE Partnership
Chainlink has announced a strategic partnership with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, to integrate real-time forex and precious metals data into its blockchain oracle network. This collaboration represents a major milestone in bridging the trillion-dollar divide between traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems.
ICE's Consolidated Feed—which aggregates data from more than 300 global exchanges—will now support chainlink Data Streams, delivering institutional-grade pricing for over 2,000 DeFi applications. The partnership tackles a key challenge in tokenized asset markets: the lack of reliable real-world asset data onchain.
The integration marks a significant step in Wall Street's adoption of blockchain infrastructure, with ICE's gold, silver, and forex rates becoming critical inputs for smart contracts. Market participants now have access to millisecond-level pricing previously unavailable in decentralized finance.
